Rebuilding the Deck

We’ve been working on rebuilding the deck and I’ve put a bunch of pictures up on the album. We ripped the old one down to the base and have rebuilt it more than twice the size. It is mostly done, just need to put the steps and the railing up. I’ll be updating with more recent pictures shortly.

Crashing Weddings

Going to see Wedding Crashers this afternoon and have been having entirely too much fun with the “Crash This Trailer” part of their website for the last couple of weeks. If you haven’t seen it, you can upload two pictures and put your face and a friend’s face in place of two of five characters from the movie. Its pretty easy and is usually pretty funny. Kenny, Gretchen, and Kracker

Went to the Kenny Chesney, Gretchen Wilson, and Uncle Kracker concert at the Van Andel tonight, gotta say it was a pretty good show. A couple tiny complaints… not enough Uncle Kracker and not enough of the stuff from Kenny’s latest CD. I think there were 2 songs from it and one was just played on CD before they came on stage. On the other hand, something that was really good about the show is the sheer amount of cute to hot women in skimpy clothes and cowboy hats. We were talking about it and I can honestly say its the first concert I’ve been to that equalled or possibly exceeded Garth Brooks in concert. Kenny Chesney definitely knows how to put on a show. I’ll definitely go the next time he’s in town…

New Stuff Coming

The 1.5 version of WordPress was recently released so I decided to finally start moving over to it. I’ve been playing with versions of it since 1.2 and with all the improvements they’ve added with this version, I figured it was worth the change. I think along with the change, I am going to also change the design of the page. I have a good base design, I just need to iron out a few things before I get around to posting it. I am also probably going to have it sync with livejournal.

Got Gmail?

I’m still not really sure why its such a big deal to have one, but yesterday I became the proud new owner of a gmail account. People seem to be selling off their first born for an email account that will be freely available eventually. Anyways, feel free to email me at engleb@gmail.com if you feel so inclined. And, I guess if anyone feels like giving me something good or performing a good service for me, I’ll keep them in mind when I eventually get some invitations to give out.

… keeping this site up to date. Observant people might notice the photo galleries are being updated but I haven’t kept up on my posting. I guess I don’t live nearly as exciting of a life as I would hope. Oh well, eventually I’ll post again… maybe. I’ve said that before.
