Congrats to Andy and Kris!

So Andy and Kris got married yesterday, congrats to them! Except for the power outages all over the West Michigan area taking out the church’s power, everything went pretty well. I had a great time and I hope they did too. They’re leaving to go on a cruise tomorrow and that should be a good time. Congrats again!

It’s My Birthday

So I had a pretty decent birthday weekend… Michael, Andy, and Kris took me out for a birthday dinner on Friday at Don Pablos and then we went out to get some drinks and met up with Kristen, Glen, Kerry, and a few others. We ended up at BW3.. er Buffalo Wild Wings where I got what amounted to be a pretty cool birthday gift… Kris dropped my name in a drawing and I ended up winning 50 wings a week for a year! Thanks Kris! Saturday went to the Rampage game and they won a key divisional game. Then Sunday I went to my parents house for a nice home cooked meal. Thanks everyone for a great birthday weekend! Now to enjoy one more day off and then back to work.

Vegas, Baby! Vegas!

Had a great time in Vegas over the weekend for Andy’s bachelor party… I’d like to say more, but you all know the rules… What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. We all made it home, so that’s good enough. The only downside to the weekend was the return trip for me, Michael, and Nate… our layover in Cincinnati turned from about an hour to about nine hours due to a security breach at the airport… if you’re wondering if the airports are taking this stuff seriously, we’re here to say they are… Read about it at The Kentucky Post.

I’m Back

Ok, after a mere year of not updating anything too visible on my site, I am finally getting around to doing something with it… On top of that, I am moving the site to a new server, so for a little bit things will be a bit messy. This design is only temporary until I get the bugs worked out of my new one… until that time, this is easy enough to work with. Hopefully I’ll keep up with updates, though I’ve never been too good about it, a whole year is a tad bit long to go.

Ok… I’m Really Lazy

I really need to keep this updated… its not like there hasn’t been anything to post about, I’ve just not felt like posting anything. I do have a few things to get posted though. Soon I’ll have the pictures up from our last vacation to Las Vegas in November and also our pictures from New Years Eve. I might have pictures from Halloween but since the party we were going to ended up getting cancelled, we just ended up hanging out with Andy and Kris. I guess since this is the first post of 2002, I should say Happy New Year to anyone reading.

Can We Say Arena Bowl XV Champions?

Grand Rapids did it… what couldn’t possibly be done… they won the Arena Bowl XV game against Nashville 64-42 in front of a sell-out overflow crowd of nearly 11,300 people. Many big names were in the crowd, probably a lot more then were announced. The game itself was awesome, many huge plays and many records were broken or tied. The crowd was insane and was obviously in the heads of the Kats… I’ve never seen that place so crazy and loud. Congrats to the players and coaches and fans!!

Congrats To Rob And Bekah!

My friend Rob got married on Saturday to Bekah and I just want to say congrats to them! Everything went well, we had a good time, and afterwards a few of us from the wedding party went down to the Bresa Del Rio (a country/line dancing bar) in our wedding “gear” and listened to some music and danced a bit. It was a long weekend with the wedding and the Arena Bowl, but I’m really glad I was able to be in their wedding!
