Well, I dropped off my car yesterday afternoon to get the new hood test fit, painted, and mounted. Theoretically, I’ll have my car back by Thursday barring any odd problems he has while working on it. In the meantime, my mom lent me her minivan to drive. Slight problem… I went out this morning to leave for work, started it up and a huge puddle of gas started forming on the driveway under the van. Needless to say I’m not driving that to work. I called Enterprise and rented a car and I’m now the “proud” new driver of an ugly Escort.. I can’t wait to get a real car back.

I just got an email from my dad and he said that my new SD Ram Air hood for my GTP from the Grand Prix Store showed up at their shop today! (saved $$ by shipping it there) Now I just need to get it test fit, painted, and installed and my car will be one step closer to finished. After I posted back on the 21st that I needed a logo, my friend Heidi gave some suggestions and sent a few ideas over to me. After looking at the ideas she sent, I fired up photoshop and did some mangling of my tattoo, and what came out is slapped up in the corner. Its starting to grow on me and I don’t really have any other ideas, so it’ll probably stay until I get bored of this look and redesign everything.

So last weekend, during a spur of the moment conversation, we got a new roomie. My friend Emily is now the proud resident of the 4th bedroom of our townhouse. I’m pretty geeked, I’ve known Emily for at least 15 years and she’s going to fit into our household perfectly I think.
